Clearasil Commercial
The Clearasil Commercial is a funny to young male and female audience ages from 14 to 19. The characters in the commercial show a lot of detail because the actors are hot looking and Clearasil is saying that if they use the product they can be more like them. The background of the place is an ordinary house with ordinary people. The commercial is saying that if you put Clearasil product on your face it can help you clean your face from acne and give you confidence about yourself around other people. So like basically they are saying it changes their personality and how they act. It makes the audience say "Wow, I am really going to buy it because I want a clear face and i want to talk like that to other people without being scared" . In this commercial the guy was talking to his friends mom. He was sweet talking to her like "hey baby how you doing" and that means that he has got the guts to talk to his friend's mom. They are using card stacking because they didn't show any the bad effect of the product. They also didn't show the mom's reaction which in the real life she would slap him. Card Stacking means showing only the good side of the product. For example: My moms cooking is so good that it will make your whole day happy and you can get going 24/7. But, you didn't know that the food is greasy and fattening. Card stacking is hiding bad things. From watching this commercial I think that the product doesn't work. They didn't even talk about the product, only how confidence you can improve around people. The commercial was hilarious but not good enough for me to buy it. I would show the evidence of how the product can be better then other product and graph how many people buy it and say that it really works. But, if they really want them to buy I would put out hot celebrities.

You did a nice job on this. Very few mechanical errors and you did a good job of explaining the techniques. Grade: B+
